Membership

Applications will be accepted for membership anytime during the year. New members who apply between Jan 1 and Aug 31 will be chapter and state members for that calendar year. New members who apply between Sep 1 and Dec 31 will be considered chapter members through the next calendar year and will become state members starting on Jan 1 of the next calendar year. Membership renewals are due annually by Dec 31 and will be accepted anytime of the year.

We ask ALL new and renewing members to complete a membership application so that we are assured that your information is up-to-date. Dues and a completed membership application can be mailed to Charleston Chapter, SCGS, PO Box 31395, Charleston, SC 29417, OR, they can be completed on-line using PayPal (sorry but we cannot accepted credit card payments on-line). Please contact us if you have questions about new or renewing memberships.

New and renewing chapter members will receive notices for the Annual Workshop and the Annual Meeting of the State Society, and are entitled to reduced rates at State and Chapter workshops.

Charleston Chapter meetings are held September through May, usually the 3rd Sunday of the month at 2:30 pm. It is customary to have a program followed by a social hour, with refreshments and further exchange of information. The December meeting is always a “Show and Tell” followed by more lavish treats. Visitors are always welcome at our meetings.
