Apr 2025 Chapter Meeting
April 27 @ 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm
Chapter member Pat Kruger will be speaking at this month’s meeting. Her program ‘Too Crazy to be True? Separating Fact from Fiction’ will discuss ways to consider and research ‘crazy’ family stories; The legends passed through the family that might be true, or not. Did your immigrant jump ship? Did an uncle really invent the cotton gin? Did Sherman burn your grandfather’s farm? With historical research, archival research, and analysis, we’ll discuss approaches to help separate fact from fiction. With enough program time, we’ll explore some member examples so get your crazy stories together. If we do not have enough time at this month’s meeting, we will try to continue this discussion later in the year.
This will be an in-person meeting at the Masonic Center and available via Zoom. Guests are always welcome, so please CONTACT US if you are not yet a chapter member and want to participate via Zoom.
