Meetings and Events
Chapter Meetings of the Charleston Chapter are usually held at 2:30 pm on the 3rd Sunday of the month (with some exceptions for holidays). There are no meetings in June, July or August. Please check the events calendar to verify whether a meeting will be virtual (participation via Zoom) or will be held in-person.
Board Meetings of the Charleston Chapter are usually held by Zoom at 7:00 PM on Thursdays, but dates vary so please check our events calendar below. Contact any board member if you would like to participate or have a topic to discuss at a board meeting.

Oct 2022 Chapter Meeting

Virginia Ellison, Vice-President of Collections and Chief Operating Officer of the South Carolina Historical Society, will present, “What’s In Your Attic?” She will discuss the procedures of donating materials to an archival repository or museum, how to navigate the donation process, which questions to ask, what factors to consider when giving your family’s treasure to an institution, and basic preservation tips you can do at home. Something in your possession may fill a gap in our state’s record!
We will meet in-person, but we also plan to make the meeting available via Zoom. Guests are always welcome – either in person or via Zoom. Please CONTACT US if you are not yet a chapter member and want to participate via Zoom.
