Meetings and Events
Chapter Meetings of the Charleston Chapter are usually held at 2:30 pm on the 3rd Sunday of the month (with some exceptions for holidays). There are no meetings in June, July or August. Please check the events calendar to verify whether a meeting will be virtual (participation via Zoom) or will be held in-person.
Board Meetings of the Charleston Chapter are usually held by Zoom at 7:00 PM on Thursdays, but dates vary so please check our events calendar below. Contact any board member if you would like to participate or have a topic to discuss at a board meeting.

Oct 2023 Chapter Meeting

Chapter member Charlie Black will present “Do’s and Don’ts in Genealogy” which will be a condensed version of the presentation he gave at the FamilySearch Center’s annual workshop last year. Charlie will also provide an overview of registering for the Chapter’s group on “Relative Finder” (an on-line tool created the BYU Family History Technical Lab for identifying relationships in the FamilySearch Family Tree).
Please note that this will be a Zoom meeting only; we will NOT be meeting in person at the Masonic Center. Please CONTACT US if you would like to participate via Zoom but are not a Chapter member. Guests are always welcome.
